Every child is unique in his or her style of learning as parent do your part at home while the teaches do theirs in the school.

DISCOVERING YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING STYLE

This will help you understand how your child grasps, interprets, and processes information. Pupils spend a lot of time learning at home and school, and with your help, they can adjust to the style that works best for them.

Knowing your child's learning style allows you not only to help them improve their learning but also to reflect on your own learning style.

It is important to be open-minded when helping your child with their work and acknowledge that everyone learns differently.

Learning styles can vary over time and depend on the subject.

Patience and flexibility are key to understanding and supporting your child's learning.

TACTILE LEARNING

Pupils with this style learn through touch. They are more inclined to learn through activities that allow them to use their hands. Writing and drawing are some techniques to help a tactile learner succeed in school.

Despite what learning style your child practices, it is important to know that they can have multiple learning styles. Therefore, they should not be limited to a single learning style.

VISUAL LEARNING:

Pupils who learn visually can understand things better through images, visual materials, or written content. These pupils prefer watching videos and can interpret maps, diagrams, and charts. They learn best with photographs that emphasize color, shape, etc. Visual learners often have extensive vocabularies due to their time spent reading and may have equally large imaginations.

KINESTHETIC LEARNING STYLE

This refers to learning through movement or performing activities. Some of these pupils learn best through a hands-on approach. Kinesthetic learners enjoy field trips, laboratory experiences, and using manual techniques involving hand gestures. They work in shorter blocks of time and take frequent breaks while studying. They tend to need space to read or write, such as lying on the floor or bed, as opposed to sitting at a table.

AUDITORY LEARNING STYLE

Auditory learners comprehend through listening to words and messages. Pupils with an auditory learning style have a great memory and are often interested in music. Since they learn by listening, it is important to encourage them to read and repeat.
